Bath is great for unusual events, there is always something going on and last week it was the Pearl Izumi Tour Series finale. The tour pitches teams of elite riders against each other on challenging city centre routes throughout the UK and having seen other rounds on TV I was looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
Read MoreAs anyone who has visited Bath in a car will know it is an awful city to drive around, the streets were designed for sedan chairs not tourist buses and commuters! Luckily I live in the middle of town with everything within easy walking distance.

Taking place over eight nights the event consists of seven contemporary art installations and projections which utilise some of the city's most iconic buildings as their canvas'.
