From Commercial Space to Understated Home: Photographing a Georgian Townhouse in Bath

Having grown up in Bath I've seen my fair share of Georgian townhouses, and this is one I particularly admire. My clients, interior designers The Curators House and Cross Consulting and Build, worked with the homeowner to reimagine this property, leading a tasteful and comprehensive restoration of the home.

On the day of the shoot we had lots of ground to cover, as we needed to capture all five storeys within a day. I'd love to return with more time, particularly for the first-floor office and the master en-suite. I'm used to working at pace when shooting these larger properties, and my approach is to take the time to compose and style each shot, ensuring I capture a small number of well-considered images from each room rather than a larger quantity of average ones.
