The Tetbury Country Retreat
Creating a narrative through photography, catching the eye of an editor
I absolutely loved this shoot. The master bedroom with its bold fabrics and wallpaper, the stylish home office, and a roll-top bath in the garden; my pictures needed to tell the story of a stylish but characterful Cotswold Retreat.
We allocated a good portion of our time to the master bedroom in the attic, which previously went viral on Instagram. We found the strongest wide shots (straight on from both sides) and captured detail shots illustrating the matching blinds, drapes, and wallpaper.
Because the clients had not yet moved in, we spent a lot of time styling to create a welcoming, "lived-in" feel using yards of books, coats, and boots. The garden roll-top bath was a first for me, but with consistent styling, these images caught the eye of Country Homes & Interiors, who chose the project for their cover and main feature.
