A selection of work from various photoshoots.
Cover image, the Bath Georgian sitting room
This image was from a shoot at Sean Symington’s fantastic Georgian home in Bath. The sitting room is at the front of the house and the first room you see as you come in. The rich palette and styling sets the tone for the whole property, stylish, opulent but welcoming.
Focussing on the fabrics for GP & J Baker
I have been fortunate to work with some fantastic designers and suppliers; but the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most respected legacy brands, GP&J Baker, has been a real highlight. The brief for the shoot was to capture their “House Small Prints II” collection, a collaboration with Sean Symington. The focus of the shoot was the fabrics and patterns from the series which had been used to decorate the master bedroom in Sean’s Georgian home. I needed to honour the brand’s heritage whilst showcasing Sean’s fresh perspective in this collaboration.
Cover story, a Cotswolds country retreat
I absolutely loved this shoot. The master bedroom with its bold fabric/wallpaper combination, the stylish home office and a rolltop bath in the garden. Our pictures needed to tell the story of a stylish but quirky Cotswold Retreat and would lead to the cover of Country Homes & Interiors.
Transforming a Basement with Bold Colour and Light
This project by Frome Interiors is a masterclass in transforming a challenging space. Located in a half-basement with limited natural light, the design relies on a clever layout and a bold colour palette to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Focusing on composition in this charming thatched country cottage
We photographed this thatched family home in Somerset earlier this year. Sean and his team brought in rich fabrics and colour while retaining the charm of this older property and we needed to reflect this in the imagery.
Composition and Structure in Queens Park, London
I photographed this stylish family townhouse for the talented London-based designer Christiana Syrris. From the luxurious master suite to the subtle colour choice in the kitchen, the brief was to capture a gallery of images that explored the sophisticated yet inviting character of this design.
Capturing a Georgian Gem in Bath
It was a pleasure to photograph this beautiful Grade II listed Georgian townhouse in Bath for Sean Symington, a project now featured in The English Home magazine. The brief was to capture the sophisticated balance between the home's classic architecture and Sean's use of a fresh, pastel colour palette. My goal was to create images that felt both grand and intimate, telling the story of a historic, liveable family home.
Cover Story, photographing a Tudor farmhouse
Securing a magazine cover is the ultimate goal for many interior designers, and this project is a perfect case study in how to achieve it. It was a pleasure to be commissioned by Sean Symington to photograph his sensitive restoration of this charming Tudor farmhouse in Suffolk. From the outset, our shared goal was to create a set of images that were not just beautiful, but compelling enough to pitch for a major feature.
Photographing a Georgian Townhouse in Bath
Having grown up in Bath I've seen my fair share of Georgian townhouses, and this is one I particularly admire. My clients, interior designers The Curators House and Cross Consulting and Build, worked with the homeowner to reimagine this property, leading a tasteful and comprehensive restoration of the home.
Reviewing and adapting at a Grand Parisian home
I spent a week with Sean Symington and his team capturing this spectacular family home in the French countryside just south of Paris on The Seine. The goal was to illustrate how Sean and his team had completely renovated the property, blending classic French architecture with contemporary design. We composed our shots with editors in mind, which led to an extensive feature in Homes & Gardens magazine.
Intentional styling in Bloomsbury, London
Capturing the ‘City Sanctuary’ aesthetic for Bristol-based designer Katy Cronk required a delicate balance of light and texture. The objective was to document a calm, elegant interior within the meticulously appointed rooms of a London Terrace. Dealing with the logistics of a city shoot, often in high-density areas, requires a clear plan of action before you even leave your studio.

Using composition to showcase a luxurious ledroom
A shoot in Dorset, capturing this Sean Symington designed guest bedroom and adjoining bathroom. Pulling together fabrics, wallpapers, curtains and then executing a design like this takes skill so I wanted my images to do the project justice.
An editorial eye on The Swan Inn, Fittleworth
I was commissioned by Zanna Westgate Design to photograph The Swann Inn, a boutique hospitality project, shortly before its official re-opening. The brief was to deliver a comprehensive set of editorial-standard images that would serve the designer, the fabric supplier JDH Furnishings, and the Inn’s own marketing team. The visual goal was to capture the warmth and character of the historic building while highlighting the contemporary updates made to the public spaces and guest suites.
Grand Somerset estate drone and interior photography
I photographed this magnificent property for the owners who were looking into the short term rental market. I worked at pace to cover the grounds and the inside of this vast estate in one day. This is when having a drone comes in handy as it’s only way to show the scale of a large property like this.
Residential kitchen extension by Silvan Architects
I captured this residential architecture project for Silvan Architects in Bath. The brief for the architect was to create more living space in this terraced family home and as the room was north facing they wanted more light without having large expanses of glazing.
Georgian townhouse refurbishment in Bath
This top to bottom renovation in Bath struck a perfect balance of preserving the history of the building with modern luxury. I really liked the guest bedroom with the freestanding bath and the hand painted wallpaper on the stairs.
Interior architecture and design in Frome
I spent five years living in Frome, the town is full of creatives and one of my favourite local businesses is Frome Interiors. Charlotte’s background in architecture and keen eye for design always impresses and her projects are a pleasure to work on.
Bristol townhouse with picture window loft conversion
Captured for interior designer Katy Cronk the photography brief for this house was to focus on the stylish loft conversion. Katy worked closely with the architects on the project and results speaks for themselves. We also photographed the living room ans study which were finished to equally high standards.
Grand holiday rental house photography in Suffolk
Captured for luxury holiday rental Kate and Toms, this property is typical of what the company offers to it’s clients. Capturing such a large property in a day can be a challenge especially in the shorter daylight months.
