This image was from a shoot at Sean Symington’s fantastic Georgian home in Bath. The sitting room is at the front of the house and the first room you see as you come in. The rich palette and styling sets the tone for the whole property, stylish, opulent but welcoming.

I have been fortunate to work with some fantastic designers and suppliers; but the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most respected legacy brands, GP&J Baker, has been a real highlight. The brief for the shoot was to capture their “House Small Prints II” collection, a collaboration with Sean Symington. The focus of the shoot was the fabrics and patterns from the series which had been used to decorate the master bedroom in Sean’s Georgian home. I needed to honour the brand’s heritage whilst showcasing Sean’s fresh perspective in this collaboration.

Capturing the ‘City Sanctuary’ aesthetic for Bristol-based designer Katy Cronk required a delicate balance of light and texture. The objective was to document a calm, elegant interior within the meticulously appointed rooms of a London Terrace. Dealing with the logistics of a city shoot, often in high-density areas, requires a clear plan of action before you even leave your studio.
